Beta Testing

General Information

The purpose of the beta testing is to field test the use of GeoAgro CPlanner, mainly for CNMP development, in 25 locations.

State Offices, Technical Service Providers and Producers are participating in this test. The NRCS Information Technology Center (ITC) and GeoAgro are providing support.  The ITC provides training and support to District Conservationists to fulfill their role during testing and GeoAgro provides training and support to the TSPs.

The goal is to measure the effectiveness of the tool to streamline CNMP development and reporting to the NRCS, as well as gather feedback for improving it. This will provide valuable information for deploying the tool at the national level during the second half of 2008.
